I received this message from David Oswald of Salt Lake PM:

Salt Lake Perl Mongers ( http://saltlake.pm.org ), with the
assistance of Bluehost and Utah Open Source are putting on a special
presentation featuring Damian Conway.

Damian will be appearing Thursday, August 1st at 7:15pm at Utah
Valley University (Liberal Arts building, room 101). The title of his
talk is:

Temporally Quaquaversal Virtual Nanomachine Programming In Multiple
Topologically Connected Quantum-Relativistic Parallel
Spacetimes...Made Easy!

Damian Conway is one of the most sought-after speakers in the Perl
community. We're really lucky to get him for 90 minutes. He is the
author of Object Oriented Perl, Perl Best Practices, and several
other books. He's been highly influential on Perl5's development, and
now provides direction on the Perl6 project. He is also the author of
the Perl modules (on CPAN): Parse::RecDescent,
Quantum::Superpositions, Lingua::Romana::Perligata (program Perl in
Latin), and many others that run the gamut from highly useful, to
bizarre and inspiring.

For those who haven't seen Damian Conway speak, you should know that he
is (in my opinion) the absolute best technical speaker out there. I've
seen an earlier version of this particular talk, and while you may not
get anything particularly useful out of it, trust me when I say that
you'll enjoy it.
