Here is what I found. If I switch line 43 with line 44 my corrected code works. If I switch them back I get the build error. The error message mentioned method was None. I think what was happening was when I wrapped the function it didn't wrap the route. I could be wrong with this, but with my limited knowledge of this language and library it seems logical.
