Here's a quick question for anyone. It's probably simple to answer, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it and I can't figure it out on my own.
Is there a way to have multiple X sessions running on the machine at the same time, each tied to a different VT? I.e. when X loads as part of the boot sequence it's usually on Alt-F6. What I'd like to do is have the ?dm running on Alt-F6 as normal, but then have a separate session from startx or something along those lines running on Alt-F7 at the same time. Then I can press Alt-F6 to login as one user via X, and Alt-F7 to be logged in as a different user via X. Any help is appreciated. --- Dan /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
