A few months ago there was some chatter about how some people had configured their Linux system to recognize Windows binaries and automatically run them through wine. I think it had something to do with changing or adding things in /etc/binfmt.d or something like that. Does anyone know exactly how that would be done, and are there any good URLs that show the steps involved?
I know that it was said that this wasn't potentially safe, but I figure for a single workstation that's not running any internet services and has no listening ports beyond SSH that it should be safe enough.
