I run a plain vanilla stable environment with backports for some things
I want the latest of. That would be iceweasel, among others. No
non-debian repos. So dependency hell should not happen. Yeah, right!

Thanks for the thoughts. I think I will take the lazy way out and leave
it until the next version of debian is available.
