On a related note: does anyone have a jtag cable/adapter I could borrow, or recommend a good cheap one that works well w/linux? I accidentally fried the input pin on the serial chip of one of my netgear routers (didn't realize it was low voltage TTL at first, and 5V killed it)--leaving only the jtag interface to communicate with it to flash it.
