hopefully i don't talk too much out of my presentation here. :) i just tested the debian 7.7 installer in a VM with UEFI and the installer detected it was on a UEFI system and did the appropriate things during the install. so i know that part will work. i haven't tested installing debian wheezy on a UEFI system with windows already installed to make sure that it doesn't mess things up. i have installed ubuntu on a UEFI windows system before and it just worked. so i would guess that recent debian wheezy will as well. the presentation will also go over how to potentially fix things if the installer messes them up. > > Will your presentation be available on line? in addition to doran's video recording, i'm planning on attempting doing a screen capture that could be posted afterwards as well. mike /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
