I second New Egg. I bought two refurbed Lenovo t61s from them, and both
installed Debian stable (7.x, Wheezy) just fine except they don't
hibernate on kernel linux-image-3.16-0.bpo.2-amd64, but will with
linux-image-3.14-0.bpo.2-amd64. I did add memory and put in SSDs. Two
excellent laptops for under $400 each.
