Have you seen xiki.org shell? Any ideas there that might help? Too many tab-completion results is certainly an issue. And ctrl-C behavior has always bugged me.
I frequently set \P less -niS then toggle between \n and \P Maybe there's an easier way to do that? Perhaps adding customizable query end-tokens like \g and \G do? Another thing is sometimes you get typing a long query, but then have to interrupt and do something so you C-a and enter a # to comment the whole thing out, but then forget that then it doesn't go into the history so you have to cut-n-paste from your scroll buffer to retrieve it--a better way to stash an unfinished entry might be nice. This could be a readline issue though. /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
