I really don't have any compliants my Comcast + CC + Myth setup. I've been
using the HDHomeRun PRIME/Comcast with MythTV since 2011.  Before that, I
used firewire from my rented set-top box.  Four years ago, I tested for the
copy-protection flag with firewire and the PRIME on all of my subscribed
channels.  I found most all of the channels have the copy-protection flag
disabled.  The exception was movie channels.

Here is a spreadsheet with the results of my copy-protection tests from
November 2011:

I was surprised I was able to access more channels with the cable card than
with firewire via set-top box.

BTW, one thing I recommend to free up "tuner time" on your PRIME is to use
a regular HDHomeRun for channels available over the air.
