Speaker: John Nielsen This presentation will cover the what, why and how of using OpenVPN along with some general pointers and common gotchas. Topics will include benefits of OpenVPN, TAP vs TUN, TCP vs UDP, routing vs bridging, which port number to use when, and making your own SSL certificates using EasyRSA. A full demonstration will be included, walking through from-scratch installation, configuration and authentication of a working VPN tunnel between two hosts.
