i have checked the server and client processes whilst running softsqueeze, and there is 5% max CPU usage at any time. the AV tool doesn't seem to be scanning anything either. it's almost as if there isn't any buffering going on. when sync'd, the drop outs will cause the track to get further and further behind the SB2 and at the end of the track, the slimserver service will need restarting.
