Thanks kdf! So... If I understand you correctly, it =is= possible to seed from any of the songs listed in the "Now Playing" cue... it just happens that for whatever reason, the "Now Playing" portion of the UI hasn't been "integrated" with MusicMagic? Is that essentially right?
Essentially. All songs in the now playing list do link back to the browse side. And in the player UI, pressing RIGHT from a tarck will go into trackInfo, where you can then get to album and into track listings there.
I could care less about moods.... I'm just looking to reduce the number of sublevels I need to navigate in order to seed from a currently playing song. Seems intuitive that I should be able to seed from the currently playing track, non?
not really. The musicmagic plugin is a level of integration, not a complete tie-in feature for feature. Plugins were originally added player modes, but have been expanding to offer web ui's and data import. The hooks don't really exist for the now playing list at the moment.
