By the way, it would be useful if you would say explicitly which versions of mplayer and cook.bundle you are using, including the size of the files (I have two copies of cook.bundle both referred to as version 10.0.0 with different sizes and creation dates, and yet another one which is version number 10.0.0.1151).
I used to have AlienBBC working fine, but since the upgrade from Panther to Tiger, iT sometimes seems to work fine and sometimes gets very choppy and even stops.
