The attached patch does a tiny bit of this.  It's not meant for use,
just to illustrate what I mean (head's not working today!).  This
simply resizes the window to an arbitrary value.  A decent value would
need working out, and it should probably also turn most of the window
features (toolbar etc).  Ordinarily, I have firefox configured not to
let me do any of this, but that's my problem.  ;-)
