Quick solutions: 1) if you use the new mplayer, please add the channels=2 bit to the slimserver-convert.conf file. This forces mplayer to turn mono tracks into stereo as otherwise you only get half the data and so it plays at high speed.
2) for the radio2 live only playing the ident problem, edit Plugins/Alien/RTSP.pm to set $multistream = 1.
