I've installed Alien BBC. the mplayer patch, lame, and the codec .dll's. I've listened to Radio 4 on mplayer via a command prompt test. I've got the BBC menus showing up on the slimserver window and on my player. But I don't get any sound through the squeezebox and mplayer.exe does not show up in processes. Clearly I've botched the installation somehow, but where to start?
I did try looking through this thread, http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=16748 which seems to have a similar problem with a happy ending. But the discussion is over my head, I'm afraid.
