Yes, a bit. It now says:
"For mplayer 1.0pre7 only. (This is now the default on AlienBBC v0.99)
Open the file ... "
I was reading it as *because* pre7 is now the default on 0.99 you must
do the following.
Perhaps clearer as: "4. This change is not needed for AlienBBC v0.99,
but when using mplayer 1.0pre7 on version 0.98 and earlier, open the
file ... "
