As a great believer in repurposing otherwise defunct hardware I have managed to reuse an old (Celeron 266MHz) Win98 PC as my SlimServer by using the Perl version. Everything has worked fine until I tried AlienBBC.
When I attempted to get that up and running (against SlimServer 6.2), I hit a fairly fundamental "Unable to create named pipe" error. Since Win98 does *not* support named pipe creation, it looks like I am going to investigate running a SlimCD Linux version to get AlienBBC going, unless anyone knows any way of getting AlienBBC running under Win98? -- acacia _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
