Softsqueeze will ask your system to translate thse hostnames. And your system does so according to your hosts table and/or DNS, and network switch table. Localhost translates to 127.0.0.1, and refers of course to your internal loopback network interface. Your computer's hostname would be used by external clients, and is mapped to the IP address of your (primary) network interface. What your system returns is something you'll have to test. Compare what you get back when you ask your system to translate: localhost yourhostname yourhostname. yourhostname.yourdefaultdomain. You'll probably find that one of them generates an error, and this is probably the name you entered into Softsqueeze. -- MrC _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
