The link to the plugins page is on the "SlimServer" page, under post-installation things, so you don't need to search the whole index. The Slim Devices plugins page also redirects straight into the wiki plugins page.
Of course, that doesn't stop it also being added to the root if someone with the authority to do that thinks it's a good idea.
