I'm running SuSe 9.3 and the patches were initially tested on this system so I'm surprised.
Is it possible that after compiling Mplayer you didn't install the newly patched version ? In which case Mplayer.sh is picking up the original Mplayer and not the patch one. The Mplayer "-verbose 1" will give more details. Can you run the following command from a shell from the directory with the newly built mplayer and copy the initial startup. You can let it run and if Mplayer detects problem with R4 stream it will display some message such as "packets lost". ./mplayer -verbose 1 -vo null -cache 128 -af volume=4:sc,resample=44100:0:1 rtsp://rmlivev8bb.bbc.net.uk/farm/*/ev7/live24/radio4/live/r4_dsat_g2.ra The above command is for latest CVS - there may be some changed from pre7 e.g. possibly -v 1 not -verbose 1 -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18370 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
