A little while back, someone requested some facility to flag songs, along the
lines of the "Zap track" functionality. I offered to start development on a
simple plugin.

Well, in that time, I've currently done nothing ;) I've had to recover from a
hard disk failure - which meant good news and bad news. Bad was that I could
only listen to internet radio through the Squeeze Network, or go back to CD's.
Good was that the time away from the PC has meant that I finally got round to
picking up a Perl book, and now I've got a bigger hard disk to rip more music
to.

Now I'm back to normal, I'd like to get some feedback from some users that
might find the plugin useful. Here's what I plan to do:

User would invoke the plugin via Add.hold button on a track selected in the now
playing list.
SB then asks what to do via a menu - top line of the display would read "Flag
Track...", the second line would allow you to select a destination.
Options would be:

"Bad Tags" would add the currently selected track to a "Bad Tags"
playlist, but not remove from current playlist.

"Bad music" would be implemented like the current Zap music
functionality. It would add to a "Bad Music" playlist, and remove the track
from the current playlist.

"Add to Playlist" would add the currently selected track to a playlist
that the user selects.

"Save Playlist" would save the current playlist to a new playlist.
There is a plugin that already does this, bound to press-and-hold Play button.
I'd like to borrow that code to put into this plugin, and thus free up the
play.hold button for another function (such as KDF's track scanner plugin).

Would anyone like to comment on the above? Any other ideas before I start?
More importantly, what should I call the plugin!

Phil
