ir blaster is already available from:
www(dot)gwendesign(dot)com/slimserver/dev_hard_and_software.htm#irblaster
as for recieving IR, you can use the jvc_dvd ir codes and slimserver
will react. or you can use d_ir to trap the IR codes coming in from
another remote. I'm not sure if the firmware is currently doing much
with other incoming IR. There was an attempt in the past to forward
this info, but it was causing problems and was disabled. I don't
remember if it was re-enabled more recently. Certainly plausible if
not already in place.
