pfurrie The Virgin you are try to play seems to be OGG from the "Other stations" menu - it is run using sox and flac not Mplayer - I am not familiar with those apps.
I wasn't clear - try running the Virigina station 1215AM which can be access from the Virgin menu just after ABC stations. Back to basics: What OS are you using ? What version of Slimserver, AlienBBC and Mplayer have you installed ? Did the Mplayer standalone test work ?
