So if I'm not going to use this computer for anything else, I should format the hard drive with ext3?

Do I do that from the SlimCD? Would you recommend that I partition the hard drive in any way.
I'd recommend reading the "Frugal Installation How To" (http://tinyurl.com/7jx63). Just keep in Mind that SlimCD is about double the size of DSL. You'd therefore rather assign 120MB for the first partition where the image is installed.
I did not configure a swap partition with my 512MB RAM. Basically you'll need that small primary partition for the image plus a second big one, where you'll store settings, music files etc.
And by the way - thanks for your work! You and all the others here do a fantastic work!
I'm happy SlimCD turned out to be useful for other users, too. First I thought it would mainly become a demo cd, but there seem to be quite a few installations out there :-)
