Can you enable the debugging option d_plugins, then try to change station via your SB and post the lastfm related output. You should see a load of stuff related to LastFM including a request to change the channel. What follows may enable people who know more than me what the problem is.
Also, have you checked that LastFM is running at the moment. Every time my LastFM stops working there are problems with the servers at their end. There is a system status page at the top of the Web section of the forums (I can't access it here at work).
