Brian, Currently working on a prototype where the stream starts normally. You can then press & hold down the fwd/rev buttons mid stream to increment a "skip counter" which then restarts the stream with relavent skip when you release the button it. Yes it does lead to strange effects with live streams and when you go past the end, but not sure if these can easily be trapped.
Limitation is that you need to be in the Alien mode (or a screensaver on top of this, rather than now playing etc.) Can I send you something to try?
