Sure, happy to.... To get PublicRadioFan Browser working on my slimserver Version: 6.2.1 - 5194 - Debian - EN, I simply unsipped the file into the Plugins Directory. According to other postings on this list, I needed to download HTML:TreeBuilder.pm, which can easily be done using Synaptic, a graphical front end to apt-get. The module libhtml-tree-perl and its dependencies are installed, and then the Browser appears, when one restarts slimserver. Alternately sudo apt-get install libhtml-tree-perl should work. I had a working AlienBBC when I did this.
One possible source of befuddlement: PRFB shows no effect on the web page, that is no entries in the plugin page of server settings, nor is it accessible from the web internet radio entries. The only way to detect and use it is either by softsqueeze or a squeezebox. (BTW, I am assuming that this last paragraph is right, but a confirmation from other PRFB users would be welcome. It might be complicated, but a browser interface would be nice) -- ericj ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ericj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3230 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20570 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
