I'm finding that with recent 6.5b1 builds, random play has got very sluggish. It's taking about 13 seconds to start playback and sometimes causes a 'lost contact' message from the player, whereas it used to be almost instant.
I normally use a mapped key to start random mix and have noticed that subsequent presses are instant, it's just the first call after using a different play mode that is slow. I've also got a few doubts about the randomness, I know there's been discussion about this and it's hard to quantify but with a 10200 song library you wouldn't expect to hear the same songs repeated too often.
