Another idea struck me though for integrating with the SlimServer software. Perhaps it would be possible to enhance the Search/Advanced Search pages (or player UI) so that after entering a search criteria, the search could be stored as a SQL Playlist. The sql that is used to generate the search results could simply be stored to the SQL playlist folder.
