Hi jrgensen You can try out the circuit without connecting it to SB2. If you leave the input to the transistor open the relay should be off and if you connect the input to GND the relay should be on.
Also try without IR Blaster plugin installed. The two plugins might interfere and should not be used together. And make sure you are running at least firmware version 23 or greater.
