1) The plugin says in the web interface "This player can have up to 8 alarms: one alarm that goes off every day and individual alarms for each day of the week."
This is the standard alarm's introduction. I guess Kevin simply used the same string token when they still were the same. In the meantime the text has changed, but the plugin's functionality has not followed the standard alarm's development.
2) Duration Manual what is supposed to be? The one it goes on playing until you snooze it or turn it off?
Yes. That's at least how I'm using it (can't speak for kdf).
3) Under the Month setting I don't see a "12 months" option. Why limit an alarm to a single month? Or, more properly, why can't one programa a single alarm for all the months.
Month and day of month are only used if you set the day to "exact date". I think there's no alarm "always the second of every month." mode.
3) This applies to the standard alarm I guess (a confirmation would be nice). When I choose Alarm Playlist "current", will this be saved so that even if I change the music being displayed on the right side (using Fishbone skin here) the alarm will play the music I had chosen at setup time? Or I would need to have an actual saved playlist for this to work?
The "current" playlist will simply play what was last active in the panel. It will not play what you're listening to while programming the alarm.
