So what happens when you try to plan another (non-XM) WMA stream? What Slim player model are you trying to use?
One further suggestion: when you try to play a WMA stream -- XM or otherwise -- bring up task manager on the machine that is running SlimServer. Take a look at the running task list. Is wmadec actually running? If not, consider whether some anti-virus or security software might be preventing it from running. I've seen that before with Zone Alarm.
