The RDT error message indicates that RDT block which encapsulate the RealAudio has an invalid leading char - personally I think this is misleading. The rest of the diagnostics indicate that all the RealAudio headers were received and handled properly but the stream ended before the DATA block containing the codec info had been received.
I googled this error and it has been logged a number of times but nobody logged a fix. Recently the following post logged a similar error. http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=92328&postcount=3 Since your version of Mplayer is 1.0pre7 is quite early and beside CVS there are 1.0pre7try1, try2 and try3 were releases to fix security and other major bugs. Furthermore, the log indicates default cache size is 8192kbytes is strange as the try2 default is 640kbytes. I think you would be better off finding a more recent release of Mplayer or build your own especially as Live BBC suffers from the "garbled audio" bug in the pre7 releases. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21850 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
