You are probably correct with your observation. When an alarm goes off
there are two events: power on and setting the volume. It might be that
if you have IR Blaster set for volume and power events that the two IR
commands overlap, causing the receiver/amp not to react. Increasing the
delay for the power on event in IR Blaster might solve the problem.
