For some sports events BBC live extra broadcasts online but it is not available outside the UK - for instance this morning there was cricket on but since I am in Ireland all I got was a message that the people outside the UK can't listen to it.
The BBC did this during the olympics where it barred all but UK residential broadband - no non-UK, office, or dialup. Markand's problem is that he is in the UK and he can listen with his PC but not AlienBBC where he get the message that effectivley he is considered outside the UK.
