Yes I think it should say Unix for Mac. I think you have stumbled on the problem - you may have downloaded the AlienBBC 6.5 version for Windows and not Unix. You shave to use the 1.01beta for 6.5 http://www.x2systems.com/alienbbc/alienbbc_1.01beta.linux-6.5.tar.gz
I think you should delete the Alien folder and re-install the Unix version.
