After finally exracting the files from the Linux box I've discovered
something interesting, the stereo wav file I dumped has an interesting
characteristic.

One channel is perfect and the data is undistorted and play without
dropouts, the other has regular ful-scale peaks, that create a burbling
sound on the left channel only.

If these were network related they would appear consistently on both
channels surely?

Viewing the file in a wav editor show the problem clearly, if anyone

No idea what's happening here, the .ra dump wouldn't play in
realplayer, not sure why.
