1. If you change a rating in TrackStat it will already today be sent
immediately to MMM. As far as I have seen there is no easy way to send
ratings spontaneously from MMM to slimserver.

2. It would be possible implement it to either:
- Automatically run import or export every xxx hour/minute or at a
specific time
or
- Automatically run import or export after each time a rescan has
been performed in the slimserver.
Is it better to start it at regular intervals or at end of rescan ?

3. It is also important to note that the import/export will really not
"synch" with MMM, they will just overwrite the current data with the
imported/exported information. This is completely true for ratings, for
playCounts/lastPlayed the import will only overwrite if the imported
value from MMM is higher than the already existing value in
slimserver.

Sure, just search for ' *' in TrackStat/Plugin.pm and you will find all
places you will need to change, note the space before *. Should be 6
places in total that needs to be replaced. 
Which character do you want to use instead of * ?
