Which version of Slimserver are you running and on which OS?
I had a similiar problem (see my previous posts). My shot gun solution involved deleting my .pref file and SS music database (make a copies if you like), and clearing my Trackstat database. I then restarted SS and started MIP 1.6b2 using the -slim command line parameter... and let the pair simmer until SS showed all of the little MM tags next to the tracks in the web UI. I then repopulated Trackstat via the "import" button in the web interface. Once the import was completed, I added a few new ratings to tracks via the Trackstat interface.... and noted that the tracks ratings were automagically adjusted in MIP (no refresh needed). Bingo. What I haven't tried yet is to bulk export all of my Trackstat ratings to MIP via the "export" button in the Trackstat Web interface. Honestly, I'm not going to tempt fate and try.
