I'm using SlimServer Version: 6.2.2 - 7135 and I can connect to
This is ok (I'm still on 6.2.2 for my main system, too).
allmusic. It's a bit slow as I have some ADSL problems but still I can browse. The "error" message is coming very "fast"...
"A bit slow" can be a problem: it's probably timing out waiting for an answer from allmusic.com. Please run slimserver with the --d_http_async --d_plugins parameters (you can turn it on from Server settings/Debugging) and watch the logs: do you see anything when you try to access the Biography plugin?
You could also remove the Cache/.slimserver-biography-cache folder from the slimserver folder to be sure it's not loading an old version over and over again.
