Did you delete the Alien folder when you re-install AlienBBC 1.02a for 6.2.2. One user had a problem which seemed to be caused by some files or settings left over after an install of Alien for 6.5. The disk activity is possibly caching of web pages being fetched. Can you post a log with d_plugins and d_source enabled when selecting a station.
