First supply some details on your setup What version of Windows ? What version of slimserver ?
Since AlienBBC does not appear in the Plugins it means the AlienBBC part of the install was not successful for some reason. So I think you should uninstall & re-install AlienBBC as there may be files left over from the manual install. 1. Stop Slimserver 2. Uninstall AlienBBC using the provided Uninstall menu or through the Control Panel - Add/remove software if listed. 3. Delete the "alien" directory in the Plugins directory. 4. Delete slimserver-convert.conf and custom-types.conf files if they are still in the "server" directory. 5. If you are running slimserver 6.2.x, download and run the AlienBBC installer AlienBBC-v1.02a_6.2.exe found here http://www.x2systems.com/alienbbc/AlienBBC-v1.02a_6.2.exe 6.
