Hi Michael My opinion that this is one killer application for pda remains. Superb way of controlling SB3.
I have just tried 0.8 on my ipaq 2210 & have a couple of questions / points & one problem to report: 1. When I list artists the list shows all artists, even those from compilation CDs which I have swichted off in the Slimserver settings. In practice I actually prefer this -on the SB3 display I dont see all of the 'compilation' artists but on my pda via slimremote.ewe & a better screen I do. Is the discrepancy due to a particular setting that I have overlooked? 2. When I list artists, where I have more than one artist listed against an album I get an entry for the combined artist e.g. I have 'The Jam' followed by 'The Jam;Paul Weller' rather than two entries. 3. I didnt use the playlist feature that much before (I normally play an album through), but I dont recall having this error. I have found a problem with the .ewe application running on my pda. When I add an album to the playlist, instead of stopping at the contents of the album added, it seems to go off & add every song in the database.....leading to the following error: Java/Lang/NumberFormatException If when I first start the application I clear the playlist, then add an album. Then navigate to the playlist tab it shows the track listing for the album. Then if I hit the play button, the playlist updates & it appears to do the same thing & show every track in the database... so at the moment its not possible to use the Playlist tab (unless I have done something wrong)! Let me know if I can provide any more info! Neale (3) anyone know how to make slimremote appear in the program list?
