Hi After uninstalling and reinstalling everything but Windows XP and trying 6.5b1 as well as 6.2.2, I eventually got round this problem by installing Softsqueeze from sourceforge rather than from within Slimserver. It works but I have no idea why! One of life's little mysteries!
