Right now I'm listening to Andy Kershaw's show on radio 3 for the first
time and am absolutely loving it. I'm surprised that such an eclectic
mix could match my tastes so well.

I also like the radio dramas (afternoon plays) on radio 4. I've always
been a sucker for radio dramas.

So far those are the only things I've given a concerted listen to. I
briefly tried some science show on radio 4 (don't recall the name of
it) but found it too simplistic for my tastes. Also briefly tried some
of the news and analysis shows and while such shows from the States
would normally engross me I found myself lost and uninterested. I'm
confident that I will develop an appreciation for said shows upon
becoming more up-to-speed on news and politics that are important to
other parts of the world. NPR is much better than almost any other US
outlet at giving international perspective, but it's coverage is still
nowhere near as broad as the BBC's.

High on my list to try next are Late Junction and In Our Time.
