I have been using MIP on Windows with SB3 and Softsqueeze( I know, I Know... I said the Windoze name). Anyway I believe the efforts of configuring this program and waiting for large libraries is well worth it. I have found that when you set this up to use Musicmagic_Mood plugin that it rivals Pandora with one exception. That being you are in control of the playlist after it has been randomly generated. If I want to replay a song no problem. The mood algorithms are adjustable. You are in control of what you want to listen to. In addition you could use their generic mix and create some pretty cool playlists. The Mood playlist capability really allows you to dial in to specific moods, genres, years whatever you want to use to devleop your "moods".
I have gone through a long learning curve to get most of the benefits this program has to offer. Patience is key because the library analysis process is so long. But after that has been done everything else falls into place. By the way , make a copy of the file named "default.m3lib" found under the programs root directoy. This will save you hours if you have to re-analyze your library. Enjoy.... By the any efforts to incorporate the MIP programs features into the Nokia 770 skin will be deeply appreciated. I love this skin. has anyone tried upgrading to the Nokia 770 2006 OS and tried the Nokia 770 skin? -- pc4ever1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pc4ever1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3836 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24181 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
