Hello All,

I am having issues with getting iTunesupdate loading up on my brother's
new intel iMac. I have successfully loaded iTunesupdate on his older G4
and my newer iMac G5 without any issues. I am running Slimserver v6.2.2
attached to a SB3 unit. The OS is Mac OS X 10.4.6(Intel)

Here are the steps that I have followed as of now.
- Installed SlimServer for just a single user.
- Installed the CPAN packages as required by the Readme of the
iTunesupdate readme. There were no issues with the install of the
following package: Mac::AppleScript::Glue
- I have removed the -daemon switch in the startup script as given by
the Readme file.
- I have moved the iTunesupdate plugin directory to both the ~/Library
and the /Library/PreferencePane directories.
- I have tried enabling the d_plugins debug flag, but I am not seeing
anything remarkable in the logs generated by Slimserver.
- I have uninstalled Slimserver and reinstalled it numerous times, alas
to no avail.

After following all these steps, I am still unable to get the
iTunesupdate plugin to show up on the Slimserver web interface. I am
flummoxed and am not sure how to proceed. Any thoughts or suggestions
greatly appreciated.

Do you think this has something to do with this being an Intel machine
rather than a G5?

Thanks,
Govardhanen
