Are you sure about the fact that it is a problem of the Webbrowser class? I cannot connect via http://userid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:9000 in IE nor Mozilla etc.
It does work for me. You have of course to use user, password and hostname of your slimserver :-)
It seems to be an issue of the webserver. Or do I see that completly wrong?
It's a standard method to submit user/password which most browsers do support. I just verified with Slimserver 6.5 and Firefox 1.5.
